How do I come out?

Hey Taylor. Thanks for coming to us with your problem. We can definitely help you. You're not alone :)

This sounds really tricky for you. Coming out can be hard for many, and the layer of homophobic relatives must add to that. How are you feeling about this? I think that you might want to think about your safety. With them being extremely homophobic, is there a chance you could be put in danger e.g. get kicked out? If so, it's best to wait until you're old enough to live somewhere else/support yourself. Your safety is the most important thing here and we want to make sure you aren't put in any danger.

Here are some support guides that you might find helpful:

Let me know what you think of these ideas. Speak soon :)

Thank you for the ideas. There might be a chance that I get kicked out but I would go into foster care. I can't really support myself but I'm not in any danger.

Hey Taylor. I'm glad to hear that you're not in any danger. Do you have any family or friends that you could stay with if this happens? We just want to make sure that you'll have somewhere to go if it does happen. Do you think it might be better to wait until you're old enough to move out? Your safety is the most important thing here.

Yeah I think it might be better to wait till I'm old enough to move out. Thanks again for the ideas.
